The game calls its playable character types “archetypes.” A community Workers reference lists 30 workers across Day Shift, Night Shift and Fulfillment Center, including Saitama, Dark Knight and Web Slinger as hidden workers. That is a community count, not an official 1.0 total; Neurolink’s separate test-subject list may sit outside it.

The Steam store uses “office archetypes” and “workers.” Some older references list about 21 characters because they were written near the 2025 Early Access launch. Do not merge that older count with the later Workers page or assume the 30 includes Neurolink’s separate volunteers.
Steam officially names Temps, Caffeine Addicts and Ego Maniacs as examples of archetypes. The developer’s later Necromancer update also names that Night Shift archetype. Most of the specific worker names in the table above come from the community Workers page, not an official 30-name roster.
Hidden workers with documented leads
- Saitama: Two community references say to unlock the gym in the tower and complete 100 of each training type: push-ups, sit-ups and squats. Official announcements do not confirm that full sequence for 1.0.
- Dark Knight: The Steam achievement Red-gicide confirms a task to destroy the wooden CEO cutouts in the city. Community guides then describe a phone call and further tasks for the Dark Knight unlock. Some guides call the worker “Batman”; the community Workers list uses “Dark Knight.”
- Web Slinger: A hidden achievement is associated with photographing all city webs. A Steam community guide supplies further steps, but the achievement wording alone does not prove that photography instantly unlocks the worker.
Necromancer is a regular Night Shift archetype added in a 2025 update. Its documented Employee Evaluation Center purchase route is covered in the Necromancer guide.
What the list does not settle
The developer has not published a total character count in the linked official announcements. The community’s 30-worker list and a separate Neurolink class list use different groupings, and the exact 1.0 unlock requirements for every worker have not been verified.
