How multiplayer works in Stick It to the Stickman

Stick It to the Stickman supports two-player shared-screen co-op and Steam Remote Play Together. The second local player can join after the prologue, according to Co-Optimus. Steam lists shared-screen co-op and Remote Play Together; its store listing does not separately confirm native online campaign co-op.

Play together on one screen

Finish the prologue, then bring in the second player for couch co-op. Co-Optimus and PCGamingWiki both record two local players; Steam uses the broader shared-screen co-op label. A pair of gamepads is the clearest setup. Community reports also describe mixing a gamepad with keyboard controls, but the exact second-player bindings in 1.0 have not been verified here.

Play with a remote friend

Use Steam’s Remote Play Together feature to invite a friend into the local co-op session. This streams the shared-screen game to the remote player; it is different from a built-in online campaign lobby. Steam lists the feature, and a developer reply in the Steam discussion also mentioned Remote Play support.

One community report said a Remote Play guest controlled the same character as the host. That report does not identify a confirmed fix or show whether the behavior persists in 1.0. If both inputs move one character, verify each player’s assigned input device and the local two-player session before treating it as a separate network mode failure.

Is there native online co-op?

The official Steam store categories list shared-screen co-op and Remote Play Together, but no native online campaign co-op category. Co-Optimus and PCGamingWiki likewise do not list it. One independent guide claims online co-op, so the exact native online campaign status remains unresolved. Do not treat Remote Play Together as proof of a native online lobby.

Ranked Cage Fight has online-related achievements and player reports, but that competitive mode does not establish online co-op for the main game.

As of September 28, 2026: The two-player count and prologue detail come from the linked third-party co-op records. Exact 1.0 controller assignments have not been tested for this guide.
