Free Lives calls it a “car wash” in an official short video; community guides also call the same kind of location an auto repair or mechanic shop. The exact in-game building label remains unclear.
Use it for Color profiling
The Steam achievement Color profiling asks you to evade the police by changing your whole body’s color. Community instructions describe the practical order: reach the relevant overworld area, acquire a wanted star by drawing police attention, then go through the car wash to change color. The specific “upper-left, not on the upper road” direction comes from Steam player replies.
The official video says the car-wash section must be unlocked before you can use it. Neither the video nor the linked player directions establish the exact unlock requirement for that city section or whether a wanted star is required to enter the building itself. A wanted level matters to the achievement’s police-evasion objective, so do not confuse “can enter the wash” with “completed Color profiling.”
Why the name causes confusion
The achievement says your body is sprayed a different color, which can sound like a portable spray-can item. The official short shows a drive-through car-wash location instead. Neither the short nor the linked player directions identify a separate collectible spray can for this task. Use the car wash shown in the video.
